Dosas
- 2 cups rice flour
- 1 cup maida flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 2 tbsp curd/buttermilk
- 3 tbsp jeera (cumin seeds)
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- 2 green chilis
- 1 small piece ginger
- minced onion, mint, cilantro (optional)
- 10 cups water
- 1 tbsp salt
- cooking oil
- 3 tbsp rava (semolina)
- Take the rice flour, maida flour, wheat flour, curd, jeera, salt, and rava. Add water as required and whisk it to a uniform consistency.
- Let stand for 20 mins.
- In the sauce pan, add oil (1 tsp) let the mustard seed simmer. Add green chilis and ginger to sauce pan and turn it for a minute. Add this mixture to the flour mixture.
- Take a laddle full of the dosa mix and pour it on the heated sauce pan to form circular dosas. When 1 side is cooked, spray or add oil & turn dosa to the other side to cook.
