hey justin!

so this is semi just for justin. i've installed the new comment thingee (yes it's a thingee) and i've turned on comments again. now when posting you gotta type in the numbers you see or else it won't post. we'll try this for a little bit. maybe fewer spam comments. mike comes to houston tomorrow :D.

went skating today - i am SO out of shape. i think i should start going regularly again especially since worlds is in anaheim this year. disneyland + skating sounds fun. i guess it'll just depend on when i start work etc. it would be fun to compete again, as long as i don't freak out. the stress of competition really does get to me.

not yet 80 degrees

it hasn't gotten up to 80 degrees yet, but it's been 70 degrees. the humidity is slowly coming back too. i really like being back in houston. it reminds me of when i was young. no work, no school during christmas break. no big worries, lots of shopping and eating. i'm such a glutton.

it's snowing... in houston

i'm colder here than i was in baltimore! what's wrong with this picture? I took some pictures of the house with snow, but it was night so it was kind of hard to focus. the snow is melting this morning, so no dangers on the roadway... it's great to be back home after not being here pretty much all year.

we've been doing the usual christmas stuff, nothing terribly interesting, but it's comforting. i'm hoping to do some after christmas shopping...

... by Friday 78 degrees :D

cooked

for the first time in weeks. i'm not sure if i miss cooking or not, but i definitely loathe eating out in baltimore. there are few restaurants that are any good in a lower price range (i'm a student - i'm on a fixed income!). anyways woke up at 630am and promptly named when i got home at 2pm until 4:30pm - i'm can't wake up that early anymore...

2 more papers left...
